I am so proud of the kites the kids made. They learned that kites are a popular Chinese toy.
What an exciting day! We learned (or tried to learn :) ) how to use chopsticks today! Mrs. Pam made us noodles and we had the best time using our chopsticks to enjoy them! 23 out of 24 kids LOVED the noodles... they were a HIT!!!! :) Here are some pictures from our experience.
Blessings from 101. I'm working on teaching your children the life lesson that when you do something kind for someone else, it will make your heart happy, too! So, they had some homework over Fall Break! I told them to all go home and clean their rooms and surprise you! Some of them said their whole house was clean (IMPRESSIVE :) ) .... so they decided they would write a love note to you instead! I told them it didn't matter what they decided to do- but to try and do something kind for someone else- and feel the blessings coming back to them by doing a good deed. I hope they follow through :)
The other part of their homework was to learn how to tie their shoes over Fall Break. Many already know... Bravo!.... any student who knows how to on Monday will get in the treasure box! :) Pretty exciting! :) Hope you and yours are having a blessed fall break! Blessings from my home, Ms. Melissa |
